Professional Grant Proposal Writing Workshop scheduled a meeting at our hotel via our website, E-Events. When groups book on this site, as soon as they put in their credit card information, their meeting is set to "definite". The day of their meeting, attendees that paid $199-$399 for this seminar realized they were scammed since no one from the company showed to have the seminar. We tried contacting this group a few days before their meeting to get payment information(they never responded back to our email or phone calls) and unfortunately, with the Memorial Day weekend, getting that information feel threw the cracks. They seem to prefer Hilton Hotels when they book because of the E-Events option probably. Since they never have to talk to anyone this way.

I have spoken with a few of the previous hotels and they say they were scammed as well.

I contacted the next 2 hotels from their website and let them know what happened with the previous hotels this group booked at.

Hopefully this doesnt keep happening to our guests or our hotels!
