Since 1983 MED-ALERT INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION (MIC) has specialized in preparing its clients’ employees to be effective "First Person Responders" in a medical emergency while waiting for professional help to arrive on the scene. The program consists of various OSHA compliance courses and equipment, which may be utilized by the first responder to greatly improve the survival probabilities of the victim.
The Hotel Association of North Texas continues to partner with MIC to bring to our hotel and vendor members the opportunity to have associates/employees to be certified at no cost for the course. In addition, MIC offers significant discounts to our members for specified training courses and supplies regarding AED’s and the required certified training to administer this life saving device to the victim of cardiac arrest.
