The Sales Coordinator performs primarily an inside Sales Role & supports the Hotel by making demand generation telephone calls, requiring data entry & customer service skills.
The Sales Coordinator assists the Director of Sales & Property Management in sales operations including: reserving meetings & small events, coordinating wedding & various other groups, & general administrative functions.
This position requires strong written & verbal communication skills. The Sales Coordinator is required to have no less than 1 year of Sales or Hotel customer service experience.
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for clerical, administrative & other duties to assist in the smooth operation of the Sales Department. This position requires the ability to multi-task, be proficient in Word, Excel, & OnQ Sales & Events.

Education & Experience:Experience in hotel or related field helpful. College course work in related field helpful. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:Flexible and sometimes long hours required. Light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Must be able to sit in front of computer terminal for long periods of time and work with various office equipment, including multi-line phone system.
