- Unemployment Benefits Services - If you have to furlough employees or reduce their hours due to COVID-19, you can forward this information to them when you encourage them to take advantage of Texas Workforce Commission benefits - Apply for Benefits | How to Apply for Unemployment.
- Texas will be opting out of further federal unemployment compensation related to the COVID-19 pandemic, effective June 26, 2021. This includes the $300 weekly unemployment supplement from the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation program.
- Assistance for Employees - The United Way of Dallas has set up a relief fund to help to help address the immediate and long-term needs of North Texans - Telephone: 877-541-7905.

If you do not have health insurance, you can still get tested for COVID‑19. If you need help finding a doctor or accessing medical care, call 2‑1‑1 and they can direct you to low- or no-cost providers in your area.

Dallas County Residents - COVID Recovery Housing. This program is aimed at providing temporary housing for certain persons diagnosed with COVID-19 needing to quarantine for 14 to 21 days and unable to return home.
